nce Babaji appeared at Hoti Mardan where famous Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji used to stay. It was summer and most of the disciples used to rest in a vast Choe (Rivulet) downhill which was dry then. It used to be flooded whenever there used to be rains in the higher hilly regions. Babaji was young and alone. He selected a secluded spot in that rivulet and used to spend the night there in meditation as usual.

It so happened one night that heavy rains in the higher regions started flooding the rivulet. The flooded rivulet was in all fury. On its downward journey gushing water had gathered tremendous momentum and force and made frightening noise.

On hearing the frightening sound, all the disciples ran out of the rivulet. They realised that the newcomer was still in and may be trapped and swept away. They shouted at Babaji to rush out. But Babaji was in deep meditation. Meanwhile, the flood in spate had already overswept the place.

The depth of the water is said to have touched 6 ft. there. They were wonderstruck when water encircled Babaji but did not touch Him. Fury of the water continued unabated till the time Babaji was in meditation. It had encircled Babaji but remained at a respectable distance of a couple of feet from Him.

As Babaji got up and faced towards the bank, the gushing water started giving way, rising after Babaji had passed through. It was clear that it was watching all the while in eager anticipation of washing and bathing His Holy feet.

The mighty rivulet in full spate parted its waters to the passing Lord and the waters closed in after He had passed through.

Mysterious was the way in which nature paid its touching homage to its Lord Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj. The gushing and surging water in its fury suddenly bowed down in all humility to hug and kiss and bathe the holy feet of its Lord in most respectful and gentle flow.

It appeared as if Qudart was paying its-homage-sajda to the Qadar and availed of the golden opportunity in bathing the holy feet of the Lord. On-looker disciples of Baba Karam Singh Ji were wonderstruck with this supernatural miracle and reverentially bowed down to the awe-inspiring majesty of Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj. They ran to apprise their Holy Master Baba Karam Singh Ji Maharaj of the unique incident/miracle they had witnessed.
